Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies to JustSignIt (“JustSignIt”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the website at justsignit.app(the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run your shirt and keep you in control of it:

• Your email address — provided when you create a shirt, so we can send you your private dashboard link and let you recover access later.
• Content on your shirt — the signatures, drawings, typed messages, labels, and images that you and your signers add.
• Messages — notes signers send you, kept private in your dashboard unless you choose to make them a public guestbook.
• Payment & payout details— when gifts or Refer & Earn are used, our payment processor handles card and bank transactions. We store the bank account details you add for payouts, but we never see or store full card numbers.
• Device & usage data — a randomly generated ID stored in your browser to keep your session, plus your IP address and basic analytics (pages visited, general location, device type) used to run, secure, and improve the Service.

How we use your information

• To create your shirt and its signing link, and to power live signing.
• To email you your dashboard link and let you recover access.
• To deliver messages and process gifts and payouts.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and apply rate limits.
• To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.

How your content is shared

Anyone with your signing link can view and sign your shirt — that's the point. Messages stay private to you unless you switch on the public guestbook. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, and share only what each needs to do its job:

• Paystack — to process gift payments and payouts securely.
• Amazon Web Services — to host the Service, store shirt images, and send email.
• Pusher — to power real-time signing, presence, and notifications.
• Google Analytics — to measure aggregate, anonymised usage.

These providers process your information under their own privacy terms.

Cookies & local storage

We use browser storage to remember your session (such as your creator email and a guest ID) and, in production, cookies set by Google Analytics. You can clear these from your browser at any time, though doing so may sign you out of your dashboard — you can always recover it by email.

Data retention

We keep your shirt and its content for as long as it's active so you can return to it. You can ask us to delete your shirt, messages, or account information at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — and under the Nigeria Data Protection Act where it applies — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below.

Children

The Service is intended for graduating students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
